The cellist Lynn Harrell came to our shop to have us work on his Montagnana cello. He needed a new bridge and sound post. He played the cello and said his instrument had never sounded that good…ever, and he had played on this instrument his whole career. I told him that someday I would copy his Montagnana, so I worked with UNM to have it scanned for a future cello making project.
